Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients
¾ cup cane sugar
¾ cup packed brown sugar
¾ cup butter, softened
2 teaspoons vanilla
½ cup Greek yogurt (see notes for substitution)
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips (or chocolate chunks)
Method
Preheat oven to 375°F.
In a mixing bowl, beat cane sugar, brown sugar, and softened butter until creamy and fluffy (about 3-5 minutes).
Add vanilla and Greek yogurt, and beat for an additional 1-2 minutes.
In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture using a spatula until just combined.
Fold in the chocolate chips.
Drop dough by rounded tablespoons onto a parchment-lined cookie sheet.
Bake for 8-10 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
Cool for 2 minutes on the baking sheet, then transfer to a wire cooling rack.
Serve warm or let cool completely before storing.
