Ingredients

  • Dry Ingredients:
    • 1 ¼ cup VIVATTA Chakki Atta
    • ¼ cup Maida (or replace with whole wheat flour)
    • ⅓ cup Cocoa Powder
    • ½ cup + 1 tbsp Powdered Sugar
    • 2 tbsp Baking Powder
    • ½ tbsp Baking Soda
    • ½ tbsp Salt
  • Wet Ingredients:
    • ½ cup Milk
    • ¼ cup Maple Syrup
    • 70 gms Cleaned and Washed Spinach
    • ½ cup Mashed Banana
    • 1 ½ tbsp Vanilla Essence
    • ⅙ cup Melted Butter + ⅙ cup Oil (or ⅓ cup Oil)
  • Topping:
    • Chocolate Chips (for garnish)

Method

  • Prepare the Ingredients:
    • Sieve all the dry ingredients together (atta, maida, cocoa powder, powdered sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt) and set aside.
    • Blend all the wet ingredients (milk, maple syrup, spinach, mashed banana, vanilla essence, melted butter, and oil) in a mixer until smooth.
  • Combine Wet and Dry Ingredients:
    • Pour the blended wet ingredients into the dry ingredients. Gently fold to combine.
    • If the batter is too thick, add 1-2 tablespoons of water as needed.
  • Bake the Cupcakes:
    • Preheat the oven to 160°C.
    • Pour the batter into cupcake moulds and garnish with chocolate chips on top.
    • Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Serve:
    • Let the cupcakes cool slightly before serving. Enjoy these healthy treats warm or at room temperature!
